Another Student from the Philippines has arrived in Jamiah Ahmadiyya Ghana today (1 September 2023). After traveling for around 24 hours from Manila with transit in Hong Kong and Addis Ababa, Ethiophia,
Alkhalid Dais Sioga, who bravely travelled alone, (this is his first travel abroad) has arrived in Jamiah Ahmadiyya International Ghana. Alkhalid is Qaid MKA Zamboanga City and active member of Jamaat in Sinunuc. He is eager to continue his study in Jamiah and want to dedicate his life for the sake of peaceful Islam and Ahmadiyya.
Last year three students, Alshareem Suhod from Simunul and Albasheer and Muhammad Siddic Albanteni both from Sinunuc traveled to Ghana to pursue their study in Jamia Ahmadiyya Ghana. Now, The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Philippines has four students studying in Ghana.
Jamiah Ahmadiyya Ghana, is part of Jamiah Ahmadiyya International for Missionary training college. During inauguration of Jamiah Ahmadiyya Ghana, The Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has said: “As you are all aware, the needs of Jama’at Ahmadiyya continue to increase, and we continue to spread the message of Allah to the corners of the earth. This being the enormous task which has been assigned to us, if we calculate the number of missionaries that is required for the fulfillment of this great objective, the figure is so huge that if we consider the few Jamias we have at the moment, and we count all the student missionaries within them, it is evident that we do not have enough to fulfill our aim.”
Regarding the fortunate students who are studying in Jamia he said: “Those of you who are having the privilege of joining this Jamia are most fortunate. My advice to you is that you should increase your knowledge of the faith. You should focus all your attention to your studies in this regard, whatever knowledge is taught to you, you should try to comprehend it fully and try to understand it, the reason being not only to pass the examination, but the knowledge that you have acquired should be applied to your daily life and should be disseminated further.”
On 5 December 2020, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad presided a seventy-five minute online class with 185 students of Jamia Ahmadiyya International (Ahmadiyya Muslim Missionary training college in Ghana) . His Holiness presided the meeting from his office in Islamabad, Tilford, whilst the students and teaching staff of Jamia Ahmadiyya International were gathered at the Jamia Ahmadiyya International complex in Mankessim in Central Region of Ghana.
