Ang Pamayanang Muslim Ahmadiyya ay mga Muslim na naniniwala sa Mesiyas, na si Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (nawa ang kapayapaan ay mapasakanya) (1835-1908) ng Qadian.
Itinatag ni Mirza Ghulam Ahmad ang Pamayanang Muslim Ahmadiyya noong 1889 bilang isang kilusan ng pagbabagong buhay sa loob ng Islam, na binibigyang diin ang mga mahahalagang turo ng kapayapaan, pag-ibig, katarungan, at kabanalan ng buhay.
Sa ngayon, ang Pamayanang Muslim Ahmadiyya ay ang pinakamalaking pamayanang Islam sa buong mundo sa ilalim ng isang Banal na hinirang na pinuno, ang Kanyang Kabanalan, Mirza Masroor Ahmad (nawa'y si Allah ang kanyang maging Tagapagtaguyod) (b. 1950).
Ang Pamayanang Muslim Ahmadiyya ay sumasaklaw sa higit na 200 na mga bansa na may higit sa sampu-sampung milyon na mga kasapi.

EARLY HISTORY
It was in late fifties of the twentieth century when the Ahmadiyya Muslim Foreign Missions Office at Rabwah, Pakistan, received a letter from a student of a Normal School Zamboanga City of Philippines requesting for a copy of the English translation of the Holy Qur`an. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Foreign Missions Office, (Vakalat-i-Tabshir) was instructed by Hadrat Musleh Mau’ood (ra) to send a copy of the Holy Qur`an to the student without delay. The orders were complied with. Later, a letter of thanks was received from the student with the request for more copies of the Holy Qur`an. More copies were sent and thus a communication link was established. In due time, a Jama`at was established in Cagayang De Tawi-Tawi (Now, Mapun) and an elderly gentleman, Haji Muhammad Ebbah was nominated as the President of the Philippine Jama`at.
After some time, Hadrat Musleh Mau’ood (ra) again instructed the Vakalat-I-Tabsheir Office to send an official to Karachi and see the Philippine Ambassador for the grant of a visa to one of our missionaries. The official went to Karachi and met the Ambassador and had a very lively talk. The Ambassador promised if the Jamaat could get a letter from some institution or association from Philippines, saying that they need a religious teacher, the request for granting a visa could be considered. Later Mr. Muhammad Yasin, a missionary was also sent there for a short time. Thus the link remained. Later, a student Mr. Osama came from Philippines to study in Jamia Ahmadiyya to become a missionary. But unfortunately he became very ill, and had to return to his homeland.

The First President of Jamaat Ahmadiyya in the Philippines
Hadji Muhammad Ebbah conversion to Ahmadiyya started on his way to perform the Hajj in Mecca in 1955. In one of his stopovers in Medina, he dropped by a bookstore where his attention was struck by a book about the Promised Messsiah. Never in his lifetime had he been exceedingly curious, so with no further hesitation, he bought the stuff and some others featuring about Ahmadiyyat. Upon his return to his post as the School’s District Supervisor in Cagayan de Sulu, now Mapun, he began to enlighten his family, close friends, neighbours, including his staff and teachers about the Jamaat.
Cagayan island is a small remote island in the western Philippines. Up till now people have to use motor launch (traditional big wooden boat equipped with engine) to reach the island. The motor launch travel to Zamboanga to bring copra and commercial goods.
The journey will be depending on weather condition. Sometimes from Zamboanga City, the schedule had to be delayed by weeks due to bad weather. The travel will take around 26 hours. The coming of Ahmadiyya message to the Philippines through this small remote island is also one of the fulfillment of the revelation of the Promised Messiah (as) that ‘I will cause thy message to reach the corners of the earth.’ Cagayan island is one among the corners of the Philippines territory.
In 1957, Hadji Muhammad Ebbah transferred to Simunul, tawi-Tawi and continued to preach. He succeeded to have many converts among them were the late Hadji Darwis Abdullah, Mr. Mandutong, Mr. Jalaluddin Sumbing inckuding their families and many others.
In 1958, Mr. Ghulam Yasin was sent as Missionary by the Center to the Philipppines, during his duty he stayed with Hadji Muhammad Ebbah. He had gone to places like Siasi, Sulu and other neighbouring islands of Tawi-Tawi.
From time to time, The International Headquarters regularly sends Missionaries from Indonesia, the nearest well established community in the region. It was recorded Mln. Muhyiddin Shah, Mln. Mahmood Ahmad Cheema, Mln. Sayuti Aziz, Mln. Khairuddin Barus, Mln. Sibthe Ahmad Hassan were central Missionaries from Indonesia who had served the Jamaat in the Philippines.
Around year 1984, the Jamaat was registered as an association under the Security Exchange Commision registration number 128382. Its principal office was in Simunul Island.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the Philippines is now has many chapters and have built mosques, libraries, educational centres and very active in the building harmony among religious adherents, as well as active field of educational, social and humanitarian activities.
The present national Headquarters is in BF Homes, Paranaque City, Metro Manila. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Philippines at present is led by Maulana Talha Ali, a Muballigh Silsila, as the National President and Missionary In Charge.
